I started Countryside K-9 in 2003 for grooming difficult dogs in peoples home by offering gentle handling and stress free enviorment. I began this in Elkhart, IN, but soon moved to Winamac to be near family and to raise my daughter in a small town. My husband and I built a new house with a grooming shop attached, it offcially opened in April of 2007 and since that time my clientele has almost tripled. We have added many new services but still maintain the gentle methods and a stress free enviorment.

Education

I graduated from college in 2000 from Columbus State Community College in Columbus, OH. There I received my degree in Veterinary Technology and specialized in Dog Behavior. I moved back to Indiana to begin working in clinics. I realized as much as I liked being a Technician I really loved grooming more.

Our community was in need of a boarding facility which is almost complete. See our boarding area for more infomation. We also offer obdience training, agility work, and behavior consultations.
